Support Your Dog's Healthy Aging — Before Time Works Against You

Aging does not pause.

Inflammation builds slowly.
Organ reserve declines quietly.
Metabolic stress accumulates long before symptoms appear.

Rapamycin is the single most promising medication in longevity scienc. Why?

  • Rapamycin has been shown to extend lifespan by up to 14% in every mammal species studied to date.
  • Rapamycin exerts these benefits by...
    • Broadly reducing cancer risk
    • Reducing inflammation
  • Rapamycin supports normal heart and kidney function
  • Rapamycin reduces periodontal disease and cognitive loss

The earlier aging pathways are addressed, the greater the opportunity to protect healthy years.

Rapamycin Is Most Effective Inside a Structured Longevity Plan

But rapamycin is not a supplement.  It is a powerful prescription medication that affects core aging biology.

That means:

   • Dose matters
   • Timing matters
   • Monitoring matters
   • Your dog’s kidney, liver, and heart health matter

Used correctly, rapamycin can support your pet's long-term health span

Used casually, you could shorten that health span.

How Rapamycin Is Used Inside the Pet Longevity Protocol™

Most providers simply write a prescription.

Inside our Longevity Protocol, rapamycin is:

• Prescribed only after risk assessment
• Dosed according to age, weight, and health status
• Monitored with structured lab testing
• Adjusted as your dog ages
• Integrated with nutrition, supplements, and inflammation tracking

Rapamycin is not the strategy.  It is one tool inside a carefully managed system.

That difference protects your dog.

Prescription Access

Rapamycin requires a valid veterinary prescription.

You may obtain a prescription in one of two ways:

       1. You can email us a precription from your local licensed veterinarian.  Here's our email address:  HelpingPetsLiveLonger@gmail.com

        2. Through a Pet Longevity Strategy Session with Dr. Kevin Toman

The Strategy Session includes a comprehensive medical review to determine whether rapamycin is appropriate and safe within a structured Longevity Protocol.

Prescription longevity medications are managed within this system — not separately.

Is Now the Right Time?

Rapamycin may be appropriate for:

• Dogs age 6 and older, or showing early signs of aging
• Dogs facing cancer or other chronic disease
• Owners who want to intervene before disease becomes visible

Longevity medicine works best when started before decline accelerates.

Let's be honest.  Waiting rarely improves biology.

Before You Purchase

Rapamycin delivers its greatest benefit when used within a structured plan.

If you have not yet completed a Pet Longevity Strategy Session, we recommend starting there to ensure proper dosing, monitoring, and long-term oversight.

If you already have a prescription and are currently enrolled in a Longevity Protocol, you are welcome to order rapamycin for your best friend above.

Healthy Years Are Built Early.

Every month your dog ages without a plan is a month biology continues unchecked.

Build the strategy now — so you’re not wishing you had later.

Why Us?

Many providers can write a prescription.  Few understand structured longevity medicine.

At Helping Pets Live Longer, rapamycin is not treated as a product.  It is part of a monitored strategy built on:

   • 40+ years of clinical experience
   • Data-driven dose management
   • Heart, kidney, and inflammation tracking
   • Ongoing adjustment as your dog ages

Longevity is not about access. It’s about judgment.

That difference matters.

What to know before finalizing your rapamycin purchase

Rapamycin is a drug that studies show may increase both the health and the lifespan of your pet. Here's what you need to know about rapamycin for dogs.

  • Rapamycin is a prescription drug, not a supplement. It can only be obtained with a prescription from your vet OR after a consultation with me
  • There are NO drugs in either human or veterinary medicine labeled to improve longevity, including rapamycin. However, there are COMPELLING studies which prove the benefits of rapamycin for increasing both health and longevity. Do your own research.
  • Our rapamycin is 99.946% pure, and you can see those test results here.  Beware of purchasing rapamycin from overseas, as you don’t know the concentration or the purity. Other groups have found both trace lead and trace benzene in rapamycin sourced from overseas, and that sort of negates the benefit of a longevity drug.

Common problems that rapamycin anti-aging pills may help in dogs

Now, what issues and ailments can rapamycin help alleviate? Rapamycin promotes longevity through several mechanisms proven in independent studies. Here are the proven benefits of rapamycin:

Rapamycin improves immune function. While at higher doses it is an immune suppressant, at the lower doses currently recommended, it actually works to stimulate the immune response and improve stem cell function.

FAQs about rapamycin for dogs

Basically, rapamycin has three proven benefits:

  • Rapamycin fights cancer
  • Rapamycin supports heart function and can improve cardiomyopathy
  • Rapamycin reduces inflammation, ranging from gums to joints and spine.

The Matt Kaeberlein study found no adverse rapamycin side effects on dogs. In my own practice,  I’ve found rapamycin to be the best pill to make dogs live longer. We have treated over 400 pets with rapamycin and found that 3-4% may develop transient GI upset which usually resolves in a day or two.

We don’t have the answer to this yet in dogs, but a rapamycin study in mice has shown a longevity benefit even when starting rapamycin late in life. This suggests that it is NEVER too late to begin rapamycin for your dog. Just click here to learn more

Rapamycin is the only drug we know that can actually reverse the changes seen in cardiomyopathy, a common heart problem in dogs. Studies have shown it to reverse age-related heart problems in other species as well. Not every cardiac condition will be helped by rapamycin, but the combination of its longevity and anti-inflammatory benefits.. along with its safety... make a good argument for its use.

At higher doses in humans, rapamycin has been shown to increase blood sugar. If your pet is diabetic, you should chat with your vet or consult with me. Rapamycin is metabolized through the liver, so we should also pay attention to pets with liver problems.

That said, it has proven to be a very safe drug in our clinic, with only about 3% of pets developing a little loose stool which generally passes as their GI tract adapts.

There are no biomarkers, or direct measurements, of longevity in either humans or pets.

In our clinic, about 30-40% of clients feel that their pet is happier or more energetic when given rapamycin.

Many folks don’t notice any difference, and I feel no different at all on the days that I take rapamycin myself. However, I am a believer in rapamycin’s safety and the science behind the drug.

Rapamycin for your dog is a prescription drug, not a natural supplement. You can buy Rapamycin for your dog from Helping Pets Live Longer with a prescription from your local veterinarian or after a consult with Dr. Kevin.

You should expect to pay about $100–$112 per month depending upon the size of your pet. You can save a few bucks by signing up for a subscription.

Absolutely. If you’re curious to learn more about how rapamycin works and whether it’s the right choice for your dog or anything else about your pet’s health, then you may contact me directly at ktomandvm@gmail.com.  Simple questions are easy, and we can set up a consult if things get more complex.

Going well so far

My doxipoo is 21 and is still going! She’s been on rapamycin for over a month. She has a lot of health issues but she seems to be adjusting to rapamycin well. I’m hopeful that the medication will help with her arthritis so that she can walk and stand better. The doctor and staff have been so helpful.

RAPAMYCIN FOR DOGS

The service and care is truly amazing. As for the Rapamycin, it's now a part of our monthly routine alongside Longevity Plus and Transcend. For us, it took a few weeks before we starting noticing a difference in our Bella. But now, when we think back to how she used to be compared to now, it's amazing how much younger and energized she is!
