Prescription Pet Longevity Drugs

Modern veterinary science is beginning to target the biological processes that drive aging.

Certain medications may help slow these processes and reduce the risk of age-related disease.

All medications are prescribed only after veterinary review.

To begin, complete a short health assessment for your pet.

This takes about 3 minutes.

Is Your Pet a Good Candidate?

Many middle-aged and senior pets may benefit from longevity medicine.

These medications are most often considered for pets that:

  • are dealing with serious disease like HCM or cancer
  • are entering midlife or senior years
  • have risk factors for chronic disease
  • have parents who understand the value of proactive, rather than reactive, medicine.

However, these medications are not appropriate for every pet, which is why veterinary review is required.
