"Joey lived with an oral melanoma for 3 1/2 years. Surgically it was in a very bad location. We did everything to help including surgery and radiation but even with that he was given only 6 months to live.
We started Rapamycin a year after diagnosis (wish I would have known about the medication sooner!).
He not only survived for many more years, he thrived with lots of exercise and travel. His quality of life was amazing on rapamycin.
